Theatre Night 2008

Theatre Night 2008 was fun for all...

whether we were on stage...

...or in the audience, waiting for our turn...

...or sitting with our families and enjoying the shows.

Thanks to all our hardworking families and friends who supported this year's Theatre Night!

Announcing Theatre Night 2008

We proudly invite you to our annual

Hopkinton Independent School
Theatre Night
Thursday, April 17 -- 6:30 pm
Performances begin promptly at 6:30 pm
in the H.I.S. Multipurpose Room

This annual event features dramatic and musical performances by the Abenaki, Amoskeag, Ossippee, Soonipi, and Monadnock classes.

Theatre Night is NOT an extended day; students depart from school at their regular time, and return to their classrooms between 6:00 and 6:15 to prepare for the show. Students should have at least a light dinner before the event. (If a student is regularly scheduled to be in Thursday After School Care until 5:30, special preparations may be necessary.)

Would you like to help out with preparation or cleaning up? Email Courtney for details!

Theatre Night 2007

Theatre Night 2007 was a great success!

Here's Hades, Lord of the Ancient Greek Underworld (and our host for the whole show):

The Abenaki and Amoskeag kindergarten classes presented and animal fairy tale.

Elementary students presented a Scandinavian folk tale called "Master Maid".

The Soonipis retold the story of Perseus, with Ancient Greek-style masks and costumes.
Here's the head of Medusa turning the king's guards to stone!:

The Monadnocks (Upper Grades) told the tale of Don Quijote in "Man of La Mancha":

Thanks to all the parents and staff who worked so hard to help us produce our K-8 class plays.
